International DJ Andy Newman began playing funky house in the renowned West End of Ibiza’s party capital, San Antonio, back in 2000.
Very quickly, he began securing gigs and residencies with the likes of Hush, Plastik, Play2 and Savannahs, leaving everything set for the prospect of a great return the following year, after a great first season in Ibiza.
In 2001, Andy went on to play in Room 2 in the legendary Eden super-club, going on to very proudly host his own ‘Relentless’ club night in the Main Room at Eden in 2004.
Andy has played to crowds of anywhere between 20 people, up to over 3,000 dance music revellers, touring the world to play in more than 10 different countries worldwide.
Andy’s reputation in the scene has been secured through sheer hard work, determination and passion, which has seen him work with some of the biggest club names in the world, including Cream, Hed Kandi, Koolwaters, Ministry of Sound and many more.
In recent years, Andy’s main focus has been on building his KODE brand, which has enabled him to bring DJs together to play successful underground house parties in London, Bristol and Ibiza, featuring DJs like Benny Blanco, Steve Glass, Martin Badder, Graham Gold, Marco Loco, and many more.
The restrictions necessitated by lockdown during the global COVID-19 pandemic has seen Andy diversify his means of reaching a global audience, and he now broadcasts ‘KODE Sessions’ on two internet radio platforms every weekend.
On Fridays, between 8pm and 10pm UK time, Andy is live on Platinum Radio London, taking you on a journey into the deeper realms of house music.
Then on Sunday nights, you can catch Andy with more ‘KODE Sessions’ on KL Radio In The Mix, from 11pm.
