Hi, I’m Ted Reynolds and for as long as I can remember I’ve been totally absorbed by radio. From when I was a small child listening to the wonderfully smooth voice of David Davies in Children’s Hour on the BBC’s Home Service. To the crackly, constantly fading in and out Top 20 Show presented by the lively Barry Aldiss on Radio Luxembourg’s 208 metres in the medium wave. Yes I was there listening, swept up into the worlds that those gifted broadcasters created and full of admiration!
And here I am now playing what is `the soundtrack of my early life`. All those great and timeless tracks from those Fabulous 50’s and Super 60’s, oh yes and just now and then, from those songful 70’s too!
